Leandi Daling and Nele Jansen attended and presented at the International Society of Burn Injuries (ISBI) Congress that was held in New Delhi, India.
Leandi presented the practice protocol on management of the burned hand (developed by Leandi), and won the Andre Zagame Rehabilitation Specialist Prize. The prize is awarded to an individual: in recognition of significant contributions to the rehabilitation of patients with burn injuries through clinical practice, clinical teaching and community service.”
Nele presented our practice approach for successful return to work of a burned worker. She was asked by the ISBI president to publish the information as the international delegates were amazed with our success rate!
